A man in his 40s has died after being struck by a car in the early hours of this morning.
The pedestrian was killed in the collision which happened on the R755 in Laragh, Co Wicklow at around 2am on Sunday, April 7.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the car, a woman in her 20s, was not injured in the collision.
A garda spokesperson said: "The road at the scene remains closed to facilitate an examination of the area by Garda Forensic Collision investigators."
