The 18-year-old was standing on the sidewalk when a vehicle pulled up about 8:30 a.m. in the 7800 block of South Phillips Avenue, according to Chicago police.

Two males got out of the vehicle and shot the man multiple times, police said. They got back into the vehicle, which drove off.
