A man was killed in a shooting Friday in South Shore on the South Side.

Darnell McGee, 22, was walking about 7 p.m. in the 1700 block of East 69th Street when two or three males stepped out of a silver-colored Audi and opened fire, Chicago police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office said.

McGee was struck multiple times and pronounced dead at the University of Chicago Medical Center, officials said. An autopsy Saturday ruled his death a homicide, saying he died of multiple gunshot wounds.

No arrests have been reported. Area Central detectives are investigating.
