Man killed in Schaumburg domestic incident: police

Police say one person has been arrested.

A man was killed in an apparent domestic incident Monday in northwest suburban Schaumburg, according to police.

Officers responded about 9:05 p.m. to a home in the 1100 block of Stoughton Court and found the body of a 57-year-old man, Schaumburg police said in a statement.

One person is in custody, police said. Detectives are investigating the death as a domestic-related incident.

The Cook County medical examiner’s office has not released details about the fatality.

Schaumburg police did not immediately reply to a request for additional details.
