Man killed in Roseland shooting: police

A man was shot to death Oct. 22, 2020, in Roseland. | Sun-Times file photo

A man was shot to death Thursday in Roseland on the South Side.

The man, 34, was shot in the abdomen about 6 p.m. in the 10900 block of South Wentworth Avenue, Chicago police said. He was taken to a local hospital, where he died shortly after.

The Cook County medical examiner’s office has not identified the man.

Further details about the shooting were not immediately available Thursday evening.

Area Two detectives are investigating.
