Man killed in Near North Side shooting: police

A man was fatally shot July 5, 2020, on the Near North Side. | Sun-Times file photo

A 26-year-old man was shot to death Sunday on the Near North Side.

He was shot about 12:45 p.m. in the 1400 block of North Kingsbury Street, Chicago police said.

He was rushed to Illinois Masonic Medical Center, where he died, police said.

The Cook County medical examiner’s office has not released details on his death.

Area Three detectives are investigating.
