Police continue to search for the driver of a white pickup truck who struck and killed a 59-year-old man Aug. 30 in a hit-and-run in west suburban Lombard.
Robert Szabo, of Glen Ellyn, was walking near the corner of Roosevelt Road and Addison Avenue just after midnight when he was hit by the truck, the DuPage County sheriff’s office said. Witnesses told police the driver then fled eastbound on Route 38.
