A man was shot to death Tuesday in Little Village on the Southwest Side, according to Chicago police.

The man, 32, was walking about 11:30 p.m. in the 3700 block of West 32nd Street when someone in a gray SUV drove by and opened fire, police said.

The man was shot in the chest and taken to Mt. Sinai Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries, police said.

The Cook County medical examiner’s office has not provided details about the death.

Two yellow evidence markers dotted the small stretch of 32nd Street that was roped off as a crime scene.

Area Central detectives are investigating.
