Man killed in Joliet shooting

A man was found shot to death Thursday in southwest suburban Joliet.

Officers responding shortly before 8 p.m. found the 24-year-old man with multiple gunshot wounds on the rear porch of a home in the 200 block of Lincoln Street in Joliet, according to a statement from Joliet police.

He was taken to Saint Joseph Medical Center in Joliet, where he was pronounced dead, police said. He lived in Joliet.

Detectives are still looking into the circumstances of the shooting, police said. Anyone with information is asked to call investigators at 815-724-3020 or contact Will County Crime Stoppers at 800-323-6734.
