A man was killed in a shooting Saturday in Humboldt Park on the West Side, police said.

About 4:19 a.m., he was driving a Toyota Sedan south on Homan Avenue in the 3400 block of West Pierce Avenue when someone fired shots from the sidewalk, Chicago police said.

The 45-year-old kept driving and came to a stop about a block away after colliding with three vehicles parked on the street, police said.

He suffered gunshot wounds to the body and was pronounced dead on the scene, police said. The Cook County medical examiner’s office has yet to confirm the death.

No arrests have been reported. Area North detectives are investigating.
