The man killed in a ‘horrific’ Bury hit-and-run last week has been named.
Gavin Andrews died while crossing the road when he was hit by a car on Walmersley Road, near the Towler Inn pub.
The incident occurred at around 9:30pm on the evening of November 9.

Police say the car involved in the collision fled the scene and was found a short distance away.
Police later examined it for forensic evidence.
A 34-year-old woman has been arrested on suspicion of disqualified driving, and assisting an offender.
Officers from Greater Manchester Police said in a statement after the incident that their enquiries were still ongoing.
Sergeant Andrew Page from GMP's Serious Collision Investigation Unit said: "This was a horrific incident that resulted in the death of a man, and our thoughts are with his family at this tragic time.
