A 27-year-old man was shot to death Tuesday afternoon in Gary, Indiana.
Donte Kelly was shot in the 3600 block of Jackson Street, according to the Lake County, Indiana, coroner’s office. He was pronounced dead on the scene just before 4 p.m.
Kelly lived in Gary, the coroner’s office said. An autopsy ruled his death a homicide, saying he died of his injuries.
Gary police did not immediately return a request for details about the shooting.
