A man was shot to death Sunday in Galewood on the Northwest Side.
The man, 21, was outside about 2:35 p.m. when someone walked up to him in the 1800 block of North Mobile Avenue and opened fire, Chicago police said.
The man was struck in the side and taken to the Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood, where he was pronounced dead, police said.
The Cook County medical examiner’s office has not released details about the death.
Area North detectives are investigating.
