Man killed in Fuller Park shooting

A 24-year-old man was shot dead Friday in Fuller Park on the South Side.

He was sitting in a parked car about 4 a.m. in the 5200 block of South Princeton Avenue when a male suspect approached him and shot him in the chest, Chicago police said. The man was pronounced dead on the scene.

The Cook County medical examiner’s office hasn’t released details about the fatality.

No one is in custody as Area One detectives investigate.
