A man was killed Saturday in a shooting in Englewood on the South Side.
The man, 40, was inside an apartment about 2:25 p.m. in the 5500 block of South Perry Avenue when he was shot in the chest and leg, according to Chicago police.
He was rushed to the University of Chicago Medical Center, but later died, police said.
Area Central detectives are investigating.
