A 23-year-old man was shot to death Saturday in Englewood on the South Side.
Calvin Seay was outside his home about 1:30 p.m. in the 7300 block of South Stewart Street when someone in a gray vehicle pulled up and shot at him, Chicago police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office said.
Seay was hit in the head and chest and taken to University of Chicago Medical Center where he was pronounced dead less than half an hour later, authorities said. An autopsy conducted Sunday said Seay died of multiple gunshot wounds, and his death was ruled a homicide.
The gray vehicle fled northbound on Stewart Avenue, police said.
Area South detectives are investigating.
