A 22-year old man was killed Saturday in a drive-by in East Garfield Park on the West Side.
About 4:40 p.m., the man was standing on a sidewalk in the 3700 block of West Ohio Street when a passing silver Infiniti began firing shots in his direction, Chicago police said.
He was struck multiple times and rushed to Stroger Hospital where he was later pronounced dead, police said.
The Cook County medical examiner’s office has not identified the man, but conducted an autopsy Sunday and said he died of multiple gunshot wounds. His death was ruled a homicide.
No one is in custody as Area North detectives investigate the shooting.
