A man died Saturday after crashing his car into a semi truck on Interstate 80 in southwest suburban Grundy County.
About 9:45 a.m., Steven Shambora, 48, was on the exit ramp from westbound I-80 to the Three Rivers Rest Area near Minooka when his Toyota Camry veered off the road and crashed into a semi truck parked on the shoulder, Illinois State Police said.
Shambora, a St. Charles man, was pronounced dead on the scene, state police said. No other injuries were reported.
Illinois State Police are investigating the crash.
