A 46-year-old man was killed in a crash Sunday on I-80 near Joliet in Will County.
Don Brown, of Joliet, was driving a silver-colored Jeep Grand Cherokee on the interstate about 9:39 p.m. east of Larkin Avenue when he struck the driver’s side of a Nissan Altima, Illinois State Police said. The jeep then struck the back of a Chevrolet Malibu.
The impact caused the Jeep to rollover, ejecting Brown from the car, state police said. It came to a rest in a ditch on top of median cable wires.
All lanes on I-80 were closed until 1:3 am. Monday, state police said.
The crash remains under investigation.
