Man killed in Burnside domestic shooting: police

A man was fatally shot during a domestic dispute June 27, 2020, in the 9300 block of South Lyon Avenue. | Sun-Times file photo

A man was shot to death Saturday in Burnside on the South Side.

The 33-year-old was shot multiple times in the shoulder during a domestic dispute about 6:20 a.m. in the 9300 block of South Lyon Avenue, according to Chicago police.

He was taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead, police said.

The Cook County medical examiner’s office has not released details about the fatality.
