NAKHON SI THAMMARAT: A man was shot and killed in a gun attack by twin brothers in Thung Song district late on Saturday night, police said.

Eyewitnesses told police that the incident occurred at 11.30pm at a row house at Ban Kasom in tambon Kapang when twin brothers Pakorn and Panipong Jittra, 20, arrived on a motorcycle.

The two told Kittisak Maneechai, 29, to get out of the house to settle their conflict. After a heated verbal exchange, Mr Panupong pulled out a sawn-off shotgun and fired one shot at Kittisak before fleeing on the waiting motorcycle.

The incident took place in the presence of Mr Amnuay, Mr Kittisak's father, who watched from inside the house.

Seriously injured, Kittisak was rushed to Ratsada Hospital in Trang province, where he was later pronounced dead.

A police investigation revealed that the incident was motivated by a personal conflict.

Police were seeking a court warrant for the arrest of the twins.
