Man killed as bus skids on highway in Trichy

TRICHY: One passenger was killed and 23 others were injured after a private bus in which they were travelling met with an accident on the Madurai - Trichy highway near Panjappur in Trichy in the early hours of Friday.

The deceased has been identified as R Gnanasekar, 47, of Arumbakkam in Chennai. Police said the bus with 42 passengers was bound for Chennai from Tuticorin.
