
A man was killed and another man was wounded in a shooting Monday in West Town.
They were under a viaduct about 6:45 p.m. in the 300 block of North Leavitt Street when someone on a yellow bicycle fired shots, Chicago police said.
A 61-year-old was struck in the torso and taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital, where he died Tuesday at 5:27 p.m., according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office. An autopsy ruled his death a homicide.
The other man, 56, was shot in the hip and abdomen, police said. He was taken to Stroger Hospital in critical condition.
No arrests have been reported. Area Three detectives are investigating.
