A 36-year-old man was killed after the vehicle he was driving crashed into a fence Thursday in Humboldt Park on the Northwest Side.
About 3:45 a.m. he was seen driving a Ford Focus at “a high rate of speed” before it crashed into a fence in the 4000 block of West Chicago Avenue, and he was ejected from the vehicle, Chicago police said.
He was taken to Stroger Hospital and was pronounced dead, police said.
No one else was in the vehicle and no other injuries were reported, police said.
CPD’s Major Accident unit are investigating.
