A man was killed outside a Chatham Walgreens on the South Side and two other people were injured Thursday in gun violence across Chicago.

Kendredge T.E. Dillard, 27, was fatally shot about 9:45 p.m. while sitting in a vehicle in the drive-thru of the Walgreens in the first block of East 75th Street, according to Chicago police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office. He was struck in the head and pronounced dead at the scene.

More than an hour earlier, a man was seriously wounded during a robbery in Rogers Park on the North Side.

The 33-year-old was on the sidewalk about 8:25 p.m. in the 6700 block of North Bosworth Avenue when two males approached, demanded his belongings at gunpoint and then shot him in the chest, police said. He was taken in serious condition to St. Francis Hospital in Evanston.

The people who shot him are also wanted in connection with two other armed robberies Thursday in Rogers Park and Buena Park, in addition to four other hold-ups in Edgewater and Pilsen since Jan. 17, according to police.

Thursday’s first shooting left a man wounded in Chatham on the South Side.

The 36-year-old was arguing with someone about 8 a.m. in the 900 block of East 82nd Street when the other person shot him in the top of his left ear, police said. He showed up to St. Bernard Hospital on his own and was listed in good condition.

A police source said the shooting may have been domestic-related.

On Wednesday, one man was killed and three other people were injured in shootings across the city.
