Man killed, 2 hurt in Englewood shooting: police

A man was killed and two others were injured in a shooting Saturday in Englewood on the South Side.

Someone shot them after an argument at 3:53 a.m. in the 1300 block of West 64th Street, according to Chicago police.

A 29-year-old man was shot multiple times and taken to Saint Bernard Hospital, where he died, police said. The Cook County medical examiner’s office has not released details about the death.

A 20-year-old man was hit in the shoulder and went to the University of Chicago Medical Center on his own in good condition, police said. A 21-year-old man was shot in the groin and leg and went to the same hospital in critical condition.

No one is in custody as Area One detectives investigate.
