A man was shot to death and two other people were injured Saturday in Austin on the West Side.

They were standing outside at 12:13 a.m. in the 800 block of North Lorel Avenue when someone got out of a black Jeep Cherokee and opened fire, according to Chicago police.

A 26-year-old man was shot in the neck, chest and leg, police said. He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The Cook County medical examiner’s office has not released details about the fatality.

A 37-year-old man and a 42-year-old woman were each hit in the leg and taken to Stroger Hospital in fair condition, police said.

No one is in custody as Area Four detectives investigate.
