Man jailed after posting woman's intimate photos on porn sites and telling viewers to go to her address for sex

Tom Horwood, 33, has been jailed for stalking involving serious alarm or distress and making indecent images of a child ( Kent Police )

A man who uploaded intimate images of a woman on to pornographic websites and included instructions to visit her address for sex has been sentenced to prison.

Tom Horwood, 33, transferred the victim’s private images and a video from her computer to his own files and shared them online without her knowledge.

She discovered her photos were available for viewing on multiple porn websites and social media platforms between June 2018 and February 2019.

Horwood had shared the victim’s address on one website, alongside instructions that indicated people could visit it for sex.

Police arrested Horwood, from Woodville Road in Ramsgate, in March 2019 and seized a number of devices. On one computer, they found three indecent images of a child.

Horwood was charged with stalking involving serious alarm or distress and making indecent images of a child. He was sentenced to 22 months’ imprisonment after pleading guilty at Maidstone Crown Court on Wednesday.

An indefinite restraining order was also taken out against him.

PC Abbie Brookes of the Tonbridge criminal investigation department said: “Horwood’s callous actions have had a devastating and profound impact on the victim, who has been left feeling humiliated and embarrassed.

“Her life has been affected in a number of ways, including her feeling isolated from friends and fearing strangers may have seen what were private and intimate images shared online.

“It is important to us that victims of offences such as these feel they will be taken seriously and treated with respect, which is why a custodial sentence like this is welcome.

“I would like to reassure anyone thinking of contacting us that they will always be treated with compassion and discretion."
