A Stonehouse man who threatened to murder a woman and her family has been jailed for eight months.
Umar Khan, 27, of Wilson Place, was also served with a non-harassment order designed to protect the woman from him for three years.
Khan was sentenced at Hamilton Sheriff Court after he admitted abusive behaviour towards the woman over a nine-day period in August.
It included shouting sexually derogatory remarks and other abuse, threatening to murder relatives of the woman and making repeated threats to attend at her Larkhall home and murder her.
