Man injured in powerline incident in Moe

A man was flown to hospital in Melbourne after being injured in a powerline incident in Moe at lunchtime on Wednesday.

A man in his 30s has been injured after climbing a power pole in Moe, in Victoria's Latrobe Valley.

Police said he climbed the pole on Moore Street around 1:20pm. He then fell to the ground after touching wires.

The man suffered serious injuries and was flown to hospital in Melbourne by air ambulance.
