Man injured on Glasgow building site as emergency services race to east end

Emergency services are attending an incident at building site in the Easthall area.

Police were called to the scene on Stepford Road around 10.55am following reports of a man being injured on the site.

An eyewitness reported a large police presence in the area after the incident unfolded with several surrounding streets cordoned off.

The nature of the man's injuries are currently unknown but emergency services remain on the scene.

A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “Officers received a report of a man having been injured at a building site on Stepford Road in Glasgow around 10.50am on Wednesday, 11 May, 2022. Emergency services are at the scene.”
