A man was injured following an incident in Dublin city centre.
Emergency services were called to the scene near Wellington Quay in the early hours of Thursday morning.
Gardai have sealed off the area as an investigation is under way.
The man, aged 40s, received treatment at the scene from emergence services.
A garda spokesman added: "Enquiries ongoing."
