Police have been called to a hit-and-run incident on Rochdale Road in the Milnrow area.
It is confirmed a male pedestrian was injured in the incident, which saw the driver of one of the vehicles involved failing to stop.
A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police said: "Officers were called around 5.40pm to Rochdale Road, Milnrow to a report of a road traffic collision.
"Emergency services attended and enquiries established two vehicles had been involved in a collision and one vehicle failed to stop.
"A pedestrian - a man - was injured during the incident."
