Man injured after crash involving two cyclists and motorcyclist

A cyclist was seriously injured after a crash near Manchester Airport.

A motorbike and two push bikes were involved in the collision on Styal Road, near the junction with the A555 Airport Relief road, close to Heald Green in Stockport, at around 620pm.

A male cyclist was taken to hospital.

His injuries are said to be serious but not life-threatening.

No other serious injuries were reported police said.

A number of lanes were closed on both the relief road and Styal Road for several hours during last night's rush hour which caused long delays in the area.
