Man injured after car badly damaged in Stockport crash

A man in his 30s suffered leg injuries following a crash in Stockport.

Police and ambulance crews rushed to the scene after two vehicles collided on Didsbury Road at around 2.20pm on Thursday (January 2).

No arrests have been made.

Pictures from the scene showed two smashed up cars in the middle of the road.

A GMP spokesman said: "At around 2.20pm, we were called following a collision involving two vehicles on Didsbury Road in Stockport. The ambulance service are in attendance."

At 4.30pm, an ambulance service spokeswoman said: "We were called at 2.24pm. We attended with an ambulance. We are still at the scene."
