Man injured after brawl breaks out in street as police and forensics swoop on area

A man was rushed to hospital after a brawl broke out on a street in Kensington.

Police and forensics are at the scene on Onslow Road, where the violence erupted at around 7pm.

Merseyside Police said they were called to the area to reports that a number of men were fighting in the street.

A police spokesperson confirmed three men were reported to have been involved in the brawl and police remain in the area.

One man suffered from injuries to his head and hands during the incident.

He was taken to hospital for treatment of his injuries which are not believed to be life-threatening.

Pictures from the scene this evening show two police vans parked up in the street including a scientific support van.

The activity appears to be focused around a house on the street which is currently cordoned off by officers.

Two officers can be seen standing guard outside the entrance to the property and forensics are parked up outside.
