Police are investigating an attack on a man in his 20s in West Belfast on Friday night.
Patrol officers came across the man, who had injuries to his ear and lip, at around 9.40pm on the Falls Road.
He was reportedly attacked by another man in the Lower Falls area earlier in the evening.
He was taken to hospital where he was treated for his injuries.
Inspector McCullough said: “Officers on mobile patrol came across the man, aged in his 20s, at around 9.40pm.
“He subsequently attended hospital for treatment to injuries, including cuts to his ear and lip.
“It is reported that he was assaulted by another male in the Lower Falls area earlier that evening, and I am appealing to anyone with information to contact us on 101 quoting reference number 2161 of 02/07/21.
