Cops are hunting for a man who indecently exposed himself to an elderly woman in a Scots park.
Officers in Kirkcaldy are urgently trying to trace a man who approached an 84-year-old woman in Beveridge Park - exposing himself and then carrying out an indecent act on himself.
The incident happened around 12.30pm on Tuesday and police are currently trying to establish whether it is related to similar incidents in the area.
The man is described as being white, aged between 20 and 40, around 6ft in height with brown hair.
He was wearing blue shorts and a white t-shirt at the time.
Police were contacted by a different man in the park after the woman walked away and approached him.
Officers raced to the scene and carried out a search but there was no trace of the man.
Anyone who witnessed the incident is being urged to contact police.
Detective Inspector Samantha Davidson said: “The park would have been busy at the time of this incident and we are urging anyone who saw a man matching the description to contact us.
"If you saw anything suspicious or if you have any information on his identity, please come forward as soon as possible.
“Officers are working to establish if this is linked to previous similar incidents in the Kirkcaldy area.
"They have been gathering local CCTV footage, and are asking anyone who was driving in the area around the time of this incident to check their dash-cam in case they have an image of this man.”
