A man is in a serious condition in hospital after being stabbed outside a takeaway in Ashton-under-Lyne.
Officers were called to reports of a male with stab injuries at around 10.25pm on Wednesday evening.
He was taken to hospital for treatment and remains in a serious condition.

Greater Manchester Police said a 16-year-old male has been arrested in connection with the incident and remains in police custody.
There was a large cordon in place at the scene on Wednesday evening with the Bowling Green Pub and the Chicken Station takeaway behind police tape.
Images from the cordon showed a large amount of blood on the floor of the takeaway, though it is not known exactly where the stabbing took place.
A number of police vehicles were present, including a dog unit which was being used to search the area.
Officers were standing guard at the scene.
A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police said: At around 10:25pm on Tuesday 18th August police were called to a report of a male with stab injuries on Market Street, Ashton-under-Lyne.
"Officers have attended and a male with injuries has been conveyed to hospital for treatment where his condition remains serious.
"A 16 year old male has been arrested in relation to this incident and remains in custody for questioning.
