A rock-climber has been seriously injured after falling up to 20 metres from the Kangaroo Point cliffs in Brisbane.
A Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman said the man, in his 40s, was climbing near Lower River Terrace when he fell around 9:50am.
Critical care and high acuity response paramedics treated him for head and spinal injuries at the scene.
He has been taken to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in a serious condition.
