A 32-year-old man is in a "serious" condition in hospital following an alleged assault in Cardiff on Saturday night.
South Wales Police is now investigating the incident which took place in Seawall Road, Tremorfa , at around 11pm on Saturday, August 24.
The man is being treated at the University Hospital of Wales in Cardiff where his condition is described as serious but stable.
A second man, aged 22, has been arrested and remains in police custody.
