Police are hunting a businessman who murdered his girlfriend before sending a horrific video message from the scene admitting it.
Akshin Guseinov, 32, put the bloodied body of Viktoria Makarova, 26, in the bath then drove to her family home where he tortured and killed her younger brother, Dmitry, nine.
Sending the video clip to an online criminal news channel Guseinov said he carried out the killings after finding out Makarova was allegedly having sex with another man.
He also called the other man in the love triangle - named Yury - who later told Russian media he had no idea Guseinov had been seeing Makarova, too.
Then Guseinov, who has multiple businesses in construction and tourism, drove to the Black Sea coast and vanished.
A huge police search is underway and the Russian Investigative Committee opened a criminal case into a double murder of "particular cruelty”.
Guseinov's girlfriend died from repeated blows to the head at his rented flat in Armavir city, said the committee.
Her battered body was found in a filled bath dressed only in a T-shirt.
Her brother was “cruelly tortured” before he was killed at his home in Novoalekseevskaya village, while their mother Lyubov Makarova, 49, was away, said law enforcement.
In his chilling message Guseinov said: “Many will discuss this, talk, condemn me.
“I want to say at the beginning - I'm sane.”
He committed the crime “in anger” adding: “On December 3, she confessed to me her treason.
“Not just treason, but in the fact that since August she had been sh***ing another guy.
“She justified this with the fact that we are not yet living together and that she considered herself a free girl.
“But we were in touch every day, met, had sex.
“I gave her money, bought her new things, I cared about her. I was working on our future.
‘I killed her not because of her treason. I killed her because I understood that there was no way back.
“I killed her because I hit her several times and at that moment I realised that it was the collapse, the end.
“No way back. She would tell everything to her… mother.”
In his message he said he also went into horrific detail about what he planned to do to her little brother.
Guseinov also said he would drive to the Black Sea and take sleeping pills before swimming out as far as he could.
A video shows him leaving her car at coastal village Dzhubga and he has not been seen since.
