Police are investigating a serious assault which has left a man critically ill in hospital.
The 26-year-old has life-threatening injuries after an incident on Commerce Place in Aberaman on Monday evening.
Officers were called to the incident on Commerce Place, Aberaman, at approximately 8.50pm on Monday night.
A 52-year-old man who was arrested at the scene remains in custody.
A section of the street remains cordoned off while forensic enquiries continue amd incident room has also been set up.
