
A man has been rushed to hospital with life-changing injuries following a stabbing at a park near Waterloo station.
Officers were called to Waterloo Millennium Green just before 8pm on Wednesday following reports of a stabbing.
Upon arrival at the scene, officers found a 25-year-old man being treated by the London Ambulance Service for a serious head injury.
A police cordon has been put in place and enquiries remain ongoing.
The victim is said to be in a life-changing condition.
No arrests have been made.
A spokesperson for Met Police said: “Police were called at 19:40hrs on Wednesday, 8 October to reports of a stabbing on Waterloo Millenium Green, SE1.
“Officers attended, and a man, aged 25, was being treated by the London Ambulance Service. He was taken to hospital and his condition is believed to be life-changing.
“A crime scene was put in place and enquiries are ongoing.
“There have been no arrests at this stage.

A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called at 7.46pm on Wednesday 8 October to reports of a stabbing on Baylis Road, SE1.
“We sent an ambulance crew and a clinical team manager to the scene.
“Our first paramedic arrived in less than four minutes.
“We treated a man for a head injury and took him to hospital as a priority.”
