A man is in hospital with potentially life-threatening injuries after a stabbing in Altrincham.
Police and an air ambulance were scrambled to Whitlow Avenue in Broadheath at around 4.35pm today (15 June) after reports that a man had been stabbed.
Upon arrival officers established that a man in his 20s had been stabbed 'multiple times.'

He has been taken to hospital where he remains in a potentially life-threatening condition.
No arrests have been made and police say an investigation has been launched.
A section of Woodstock Park on Whitlow Avenue has been cordoned off by police, as they carry out their enquiries.

Eye witnesses reported seeing a number of police cars in the area shortly after the incident.
Pictures from the scene show a rapid response vehicle, an incident response unit, and a police van stationed outside the park.
One witness described hearing lots of teenagers 'crying' and 'screaming.'
A spokesperson for GMP said: "Officers were called around 4.35pm today (Tuesday 15 June 2021) to a park close to Whitlow Avenue, Altrincham to a report that a male had been stabbed.
"Emergency services attended and enquiries established a man in his 20s had been stabbed multiple times.
"He has been taken to hospital with potentially life threatening injuries.
"Enquiries are ongoing."
