A man was taken to hospital in a stable condition following a crash on Hindmarsh Drive near the intersection of Eggleston Crescent in Lyons on Friday evening, Emergency Services ACT said.
"Firefighters provided initial first aid to the patient until paramedics arrived and then assisted with extricating the patient," ESA said.
One lane eastbound was closed on Hindmarsh Drive and drivers were asked to avoid the area.
ACT Ambulance, ACT Fire and Rescue and ACT Policing were at the crash site from about 6.15pm and were expected to stay until the scene was cleared and road conditions were returned to normal.
