Man in hospital after horror stabbing at block of flats in Glasgow

A man has been stabbed at a block of flats in Glasgow .

Police were called to reports of a serious assault at Soutra Place, in the Cranhill area of the city on Thursday.

Officers have been circling the scene while the area remains taped off (Robert Perry)

A 27-year-old man was found with stab wounds to the stomach and leg.

He was rushed to Glasgow Royal Infirmary with serious injuries.

His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

Officers locked down the block of flats while enquires continued.

No arrests have been made.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Officers are following a positive line of enquiry."
