Man in hospital after crash between motorbike and car in Swansea

A man has been hospitalised after a late night crash between a car and a motorcycle.

Emergency services including the police, ambulance and fire service, all attended the incident along Pentregethin Road in Gendros, Swansea, on November 10.

They arrived there just after 7.30pm and remained for almost three hours before the scene was made safe. You can read more stories about Swansea here.

A man was taken to hospital, although police said nobody was seriously injured as a result of the crash.

A spokesman for Mid and West Wales Fire Service said: "On Wednesday, November 11, at 7.34pm, firefighters from Morriston attended a road traffic collision, involving one vehicle and a motorcycle, on Pentregethin Road, Gendros, Swansea.

"A male casualty was taken to hospital by the ambulance service. The police were also in attendance. The fire service made the scene safe and left the incident at 10.17pm."

A spokeswoman for South Wales Police said: “At around 7.30pm on Wednesday November 10, South Wales Police were made aware of a road traffic collision in Pentregethin Road, Gendros. The collision involved one car and one motorcycle. It is believed that no one was seriously injured. The road was not closed. Both vehicles were recovered by 10.45pm. The investigation is ongoing.”
