Man in hospital after being crushed by bull

Emergency crews at the scene.

A man in his 70s was air-lifted to hospital on Wednesday night after he was crushed by a bull on a property between Gloucester and Taree.

The Westpac Rescue Helicopter team and NSW Ambulance paramedics were called to the scene at Krambach about 9pm.

There, they found a 74-year-old man who suffered multiple leg fractures when a bull fell onto the man as he was loading it into a trailer.

He was treated at the scene before being flown to John Hunter Hospital in a stable condition.
