A Rolex watch and a Louis Vuitton bag were stolen and a man in his 60s was hurt during a 'ruthless' robbery in a leafy suburb.
The robbery on took place on East Downs Road in Bowdon, Trafford, on Monday evening.
Police have arrested a 27-year-old man on suspicion of robbery. He remains in custody for questioning.

Officers said 'several high value possessions' including the Rolex and Louis Vuitton bag were stolen.
A man in his 60s suffered minor injuries and was treated at the scene.
Police are appealing for help in tracking a black Peugeot 208 thought to have been used by the offenders.
It is said to have sped away towards Hale.
Anyone with dashcam footage is being asked to come forward.
Detective Inspector Matt Gregory, of GMP's Trafford district, said: "This was a ruthless attack on two innocent victims.
"An investigation is under way into the circumstances surrounding the robbery.
"We would specifically like to speak with any witnesses who may have seen the black Peugeot 208 used by the offenders during the robbery.
"Following the offence, the car - displaying a '20' registration plate - was seen driving at speed down South Downs Road at approximately 5.35pm on Monday (2 August 2021).
"The car then drove on to Park Road, Hale, where it went through the temporary traffic lights on red, towards Arthog Road.
"Anybody with information or dashcam footage is asked to call police on 0161 856 7573 quoting log 2334 of 02/08/21."
